To explore the pressing questions, what causes some systems, organizations, communities and people to break down and others to bounce back, PopTech convened in June 2012 a gathering of researchers, practitioners and thought leaders—working in fields such as international development, global business, climate adaptation, social psychology, economics, systems ecology, public health, emerging technology, disaster relief and community activism—for a dialogue about the emerging field of resilience.
The Pink Event
The Pink Event 2011
ICEMAN was the event organizer for the annual Pink Event held by the Icelandic Cancer society. This event is marks the official end of their annual pink ribbon fund raiser.
On October 27th. over thousand ladies got together at the new Harpa, The new Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre, to celebrate and support. Various artists and performers put their efforts together to make this event the biggest and most memorable in for this great cause. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, surrounded by good music, fabulous food and great entertainment. This is the third time this event takes place and it now has made its mark as the grand finale of this fundraiser that supports the research for breast cancer.

66 th. Annual Rotary regional seminar
The Reykjavik-East, Rotary club will host the annual regional seminar this year, which will be held at the Icelandair Hótel Natura at the Reykjavik airport, október 145. - 15.
